The Rakhi Gaj–Bewata Package-II project involves 131.5 km of road widening and strengthening along the N-70, a critical east–west trade link connecting Balochistan and Punjab. Our firm provided full construction supervision, deploying a Resident Engineer and three Assistant Resident Engineers to ensure compliance with NHA standards and specifications.
Civil engineers oversaw pavement reconstruction, slope-stability works, and retaining-wall construction to address the challenging mountainous terrain. Detailed traffic and origin-destination surveys informed lane-width adjustments and passing-bay locations, enhancing safety and capacity for heavy freight.
Quality control included continuous monitoring of aggregate gradation, asphalt compaction, and drainage installation to withstand extreme temperature variations and monsoon rainfall. The team implemented rigorous health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols, protecting workers and local communities throughout construction.
This upgrade strengthens a vital corridor for inter-provincial commerce, reducing travel times, improving road safety, and supporting long-term economic integration across Pakistan’s rugged western frontier.
